Information Resource Services

The Embassy offers information resource services to provide authoritative and timely background on the content and context of U.S. policy issues and American society. Research, reference, and documentation services on American foreign and domestic policies are available.  Collections comprise on-line databases that contain the full text of articles from U.S. newspapers and journals, reports, reference resources, and bibliographic information.

Areas of subject expertise include the following:

• U.S. federal and state legislation, laws and regulations
• U.S. politics, society and culture
• International relations, security defense and stability
• Economics, trade development and business
• Civil society, human rights and democratization

Research assistance is provided upon request by telephone, fax, and e-mail. Those wishing to be informed about new developments in U.S. policy can request an e-mail alert service.
