U.S. Embassy Community Outreach Program

As part of the Embassy's Community Outreach Program, Embassy officers and our Fulbright English Teaching Assistants (ETAs) visited local schools to speak to children about American culture and to present books by American authors to the schools’ libraries.  Officers from the Defense Attaché Office and members of the Marine Security Guard detachment gave a presentation on healthy living at the Luqa Primary School.  In addition, ETA Peter Bouck gave a fascinating presentation about the U.S. space program at the Tal-Handaq Boys’ Secondary School and ETA Megan Moskop led a storytelling session at Qormi Primary School.
