IMPROVED SERVICES FOR AMERICAN CITIZENS IN GOZO


The Embassy of the United States of America is improving its services for American citizens residing in Gozo. 
 
Persons in Gozo needing the following Embassy services will now be able to obtain them in Gozo.
 
SERVICES:
 
-U.S. Passport Applications;
-Report of Birth Abroad;
-Filing of immigrant visa petitions (spouses only);
-Notarial services;
-Application for Social Security benefits and other services related to           Social 
Security. 
 
Please note: We will NOT be processing visa applications for Maltese citizens or other non-Americans in Gozo.  Applicants for U.S. visas must continue to apply at the U.S. Embassy in Floriana on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 8:00 and 11:30 a.m.
 
TIME AND VENUE:
 
An American consular officer will be in Gozo every last  Thursday of the month commencing January 26, 2006, between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, at the Public Registry, Republic Street, Victoria, Gozo.  No pre-registration is necessary.
 
 
The Embassy thanks the Honorable Minister Giovanna Debono for kindly offering a space at the NGO Center in Victoria, Gozo.
